Jacksonville, Fl — The weather pattern we’ve had all week is going to continue into the weekend. Onshore winds will lead to coastal showers at times, which could move farther inland during the afternoon.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says there will be several neighborhoods that stay dry, but warm and muggy. Temperatures will be near to just above average, in the upper 80′s to 90 degrees.

We’ve now reached the peak of the hurricane season and there is a lot of activity in the Atlantic basin, but nothing that impacts us for now.
“More tropical waves coming off the west coast of Africa, we’ll be tracking that over the next several days and into next week, likely some development with that”, Bedenbaugh said.
Tropical Storms Paulette and Rene will stay in the open Atlantic.
