Broadway in Jacksonville Is Kicking Off Its New Season With a Big Open House 🎭

Broadway fans, your next season of shows in Jacksonville is almost here!

FSCJ Artist Series is kicking off its 2026/27 Broadway season with an annual open house — and everyone is invited:

The event takes place Monday, September 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts. There’s no ticket required, although guests are encouraged to RSVP through the FSCJ Artist Series website.

The family-friendly evening will be hosted by WTLV’s First Coast Living hosts Jordan Wilkerson and David Benfield, with live entertainment from Bold City Classics. There will also be a special performance by Sydney K. Borchers, a cast member from the national tour of The Sound of Music. Sydney will also perform with students from SET Studios.

And because no Jacksonville event is complete without food, Bad Chick Chicken and Waffles and Icy Spot will be on hand.

The first 250 attendees will also receive gift bags, plus there will be prize giveaways and access to the new Riverfront Music Garden.

NOTE: There will be complimentary parking for attendees at the Vystar Tower Parking Garage.

The open house is also a chance to check out the theater, try out different seats and talk with FSCJ Artist Series staff about subscriptions and upcoming shows. Current subscribers can pick up their season tickets, exchange tickets, print mobile tickets and even “test drive” seats.

There will also be a 24-hour presale for The Sound of Music during the event. The show will have eight performances in Jacksonville from January 26 through January 31, 2027.
