Nick Foles named starting Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback

Jacksonville, FL. — Nick Foles has been named the new starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars , Head Coach Doug Marrone says.

The Jaguars' next game is against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 17.

For the past seven games, it's been Gardner Minshew under center, who stepped in for Foles after he got injured in the first half of the season opener.

Foles, whom the Jaguars signed to a huge contract in the offseason to be the starter, is eligible to come off injured reserve after Nov. 6.
