JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man was hit and killed on Timuquana Road Thursday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 9:30 p.m., the 32-year-old pedestrian was hit when he walked into a left turn lane, directly in the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
The 27-year-old driver had an adult male and two children in the truck at the time of the crash. Troopers say none were physically hurt.
FHP does not identify the victims of fatal crashes.
In the original version of this story, Action News Jax incorrectly referred to the victim as a woman. The victim is a 32-year-old man from Jacksonville.
