GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A suspected gunman is dead after he barricaded himself inside an apartment near the University of Florida in Gainesville on Tuesday.

Authorities said a SWAT team member shot and killed the man.
Investigators said the man had a gun and threatened first responders.

This happened at an apartment complex after police tried to serve a felony drug warrant at the location.
Police said the man began firing his gun, but thankfully no one else was hurt.
