Jacksonville, FL — After two people were found dead inside a home in Nocatee over the weekend, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says it's now considered to be a murder-suicide.
According to the sheriff's office, the Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Lynn Bender, 53, of Ponte Vedra. The suspect, has been identified as Simon Hanley, 60, of Ponte Vedra. The weapon involved was a gun, according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
Investigators said a family member and a friend did a welfare check and found the bodies.
