The grant, provided by the Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) and administered by the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) and the ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation, aims to provide undergraduate and graduate-level students with real experiences within Georgia governmental offices.

Camden County was awarded $5,019, which will fund two internships. One will be held in the Communications Department, while the other will be held in the Senior Services Department. This will be the tenth year that Camden County has been awarded this grant.

“We are excited to once again partner with ACCG and the ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation through the GCIP grant program,” said Grants Manager Julie Haigler. “These internships provide aspiring students with valuable experience while allowing the County to benefit from their skills and fresh perspectives.”
