Jacksonville, FL — It's going to be a chilly start to the week. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we'll struggle to hit 50 today, with cloudy skies and even a few spotty showers at times.
“We stay pretty cloudy through tonight and that saves us from inland areas getting a freeze but, having said that, down into the upper 30’s with a brisk wind. Wind chills that’ll drop to near 32 degrees. We’ll finally clear out through the day tomorrow but it’ll stay chilly, about 10 degrees below average”, said Buresh.
Expect an inland frost or freeze Tuesday night/into Wednesday morning, ahead of our next warming trend.
