JACKSONVILLE, Fl. — Tuesday morning is the coldest we’ll see this week as a gradual warming trend will get underway for the next couple of days.
Some areas well inland, mainly west of Highway 301, woke up to some patchy frost or a light freeze, with warmer temps closer to the coast. A frost advisory was in effect until 8 a.m. Tuesday for some areas west of I-95.
Tuesday will be a very nice weather day with plenty of sunshine, calm winds, and dry conditions. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says temperatures today will reach into the upper 60s.

We’ll drop down into the 40s tonight before we see a slight warm up. Our weather pattern stays dry for the next 7 to 10 days and we’ll rebound into the 70s the next several days.
Tuesday is also the end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season! It was the third busiest season with 21 named storms, behind last year’s 30 and 28 named storms in 2005.
Eight storms made landfall, beginning when Claudette which slammed onshore in Louisiana in late June.
