Clay County school bus involved in crash | FIRST ALERT TRAFFIC

MIDDLEBURG, Fla — A Clay County school bus was involved in a crash Thursday morning at Blanding Boulevard and Howard Road, Middleburg. Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook said no students were injured.

The crash happened at about 6:31 a.m. on State Road 21/Howard Road. The bus, driven by a 33-year-old Middleburg woman and an SUV driven by a 60-year-old Ocala woman, were traveling northbound.

The bus came to a complete stop and activated it stop arm when the SUV failed to stop or slow down struck the rear of the bus, a Florida Highway Patrol news release states.
