Clay Electric comes to the rescue of kitten stuck on power pole

A kitten in Keystone Heights got himself into quite the predicament and had to be rescued.

Clay Electric Co-Op was called in to help after the kitten, now named Ben Franklin, somehow got stuck on the top of a power pole on Montana Trail, and couldn’t get back down.

The Clay County Animal Care & Control shared photos of the rescue mission on their Facebook page Monday.

“We're glad we were able to help rescue this kitty over the weekend. Hopefully he is reunited with his family soon,” the Clay Electric Facebook post reads.

Clay Electric shared the post and said they were happy to help.

Animal Care and Control said Ben had on a collar with a bell, but wasn’t microchipped. If no one claims him, he will be available for adoption Friday.
