The US Coast Guard is searching for a fisherman who fell overboard off the coast of St. Augustine.
The Coast Guard says 55-year-old Peter Steewell, of Pompano Beach, was swordfishing on a commercial vessel about 400 miles east of St. Augustine Thursday. He was apparently not wearing a life jacket when he fell overboard.
Two aircrews searched through the night. A Coast Guard Cutter will be joining the search Saturday. A commercial vessel is also involved in the search.
