Jacksonville’s Morning News is in the community at Wednesday’s Zero Suicide St. Johns Summit.
Hosted by LSF Health Systems, the summit brings together national, state and local experts to advance suicide prevention efforts across our community.
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to become part of an integrated solution by taking a pledge at zerosuicidecommunities.org.
The summit supports and works to broaden the national Zero Suicide initiative, which was initially launched by the U.S. National Strategy for Suicide Prevention in 2012, and launched in Jacksonville last year.
By learning the warning signs, reaching out to others who are struggling and making a few changes in the workplace, we can save lives.
