COVID-19 Breakdown for July 20

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health has recorded 10,347 new cases and 90 deaths in today’s COVID-19 report.

712 cases can be tracked to our metro area.

Duval County is now reporting 17,056 cases since the pandemic began. 511 were reported today. The daily positive average testing rate for the past two weeks have been at 12.6 percent. 4 deaths were also added in today’s report, bringing Duval County’s death toll to 98.

Clay County added 46 cases, bringing the number to 2,129 positive cases. They also reported one new death, bringing the death toll to 43. Nassau County added 39 cases and Baker County added 6.

In St. Johns County, 110 positive cases were added to the caseload. The daily positive average testing rate for the past two weeks have been at 9.7 percent.

Florida’s total number of cases is now at 360,394 and the death toll is at 5,072.

TESTING

Three new testing centers are opening in Jacksonville, Florida Monday morning.

The sites are at Oceanway Senior Center, Lane Wiley Senior Center, and Leroy D. Clemons Senior Center. These sites will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. To make an appointment for these centers, click here.

In Nassau County, there are four testing sites that are open Monday. A site will open Tuesday at the FDOH Nassau Hilliard Clinic at 9:30 a.m.
