Driver arrested for PUI, plowing under the influence

At least he had plenty of ice

The plow driver was initially pulled over because one of his headlights was out.

That's when the deputy realized it was the driver who was completely lit.

WOWK reports Thomas Henderson had the smell of alcohol on his breath and registered a .090 on his field sobriety test.

Henderson will be charged with DUI and operating defective equipment.

In West Virginia, a reading of .08 is legally drunk but for those with a commercial drivers license that drops to.04.

The McDowell County Sheriff's office in Charleston, West Virginia reported Henderson was on Route 6 near the peak of Burke Mountain when he was taken into custody. The driver has been released on $500 bond.

Earlier this week two plow drivers were arrested for a different crime. Check that story here.
