FDLE arrests man accused of changing voter registration information for Governor Ron DeSantis

Collier County FL — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says they’ve arrested a Naples man for changing the voter registration information of Governor Ron DeSantis. FDLE says Anthony Guevara is facing charges of unauthorized access of a computer and altering a voter registration without consent.

FDLE says they started investigating Monday after DeSantis found out that his voting registration address was changed to a place in West Palm Beach. Agents found out that the address was changed via the internet and they were able to identify Guevara as the suspect and arrested him Tuesday night. FDLE says they believe Guevara also accessed the voter registration information for Florida Senator Rick Scott and former NBA player Michael Jordan and current NBA player LeBron James, but didn’t make any changes.

Guevara was booked into the Collier County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
