A Sergeant with the Bunnell Police Department is accused of posing as a 16-year-old girl on Facebook to solicit explicit photos from teenaged boys.
30-year-old Michael Stavris was arrested Tuesday night and has since bonded out of Flagler County Jail. He’s charged with two counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of personal information. Investigators say he used Facebook messenger to exchange photos and explicit messages.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement first began investigating Stavris late last year. We’re told they believe he could be tied to other crimes as well, and are asking you to come forward if you have any information on other incidents.
