Jacksonville FL — During a stop in the Tampa Bay area Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said the state is working on a plan to safely reopen during the pandemic. He said he wants people to get back to work, especially for those who work at smaller bars and breweries.
“I want every business in Florida operating.” DeSantis says.
Its unclear when bars and breweries would be able to reopen.
The governor says ultimately the decision will be up to him, but the guidance will come from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
