Former Jags wide receiver arrested in Georgia, following domestic dispute

Jacksonville, FL — It's a name Jaguars fans will know.

Former wide receiver Mike Thomas has been arrested in Georgia, in what Sandy Springs police are calling a domestic dispute.

According to the police report, Thomas and his girlfriend were verbally fighting , when things turned physical.

She was eventually able to break free, when officers arrived.

Thomas is accused of hitting the woman with an open and closed fist and at one point even choking her to the point that she couldn't breathe.

Thomas is also accused of taking her cell phone and destroying it.

Emergency medical crews on scene say the woman had injuries all over her body, including to her throat and neck, right shoulder, left eye socket, left arm, and multiple spots on her back.

6 young kids were home at the time of incident, as a birthday party was planned for the following day, though thankfully NONE of them were hurt.
