Four suspects arrested, a variety of drugs seized in Orange Park drug bust

Jacksonville, FL — Fentanyl, MDMA, cocaine, Xanax, marijuana, and other illegal substances are now off the streets of Clay County, after a narcotics investigation in Orange Park.

According to the reports we've obtained from the Clay County Sheriff's Office, four suspects were arrested as part of the investigation, which actually started off as a report of a burglary in progress at an apartment.

The report says upon arrival at the Maverick Trails Apartment Homes, right near Ridgeview High School, deputies determined no burglary had occurred, but did notice a strong smell of marijuana, and then spotted marijuana in open view, which prompted a full investigation.

Connor Gallagher, 19, and Gabrielle Smith, 20, are both accused of multiple counts of possessing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

During a search of the apartment, deputies say a number of drugs were found, as well as drug paraphernalia and counterfeit money.

Meanwhile, Cale Nolan, 19, is accused of possessing crack cocaine with intent to sell, possessing of marijuana with intent to sell, possessing of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and possessing of codeine cough syrup without a valid prescription.

As for the last suspect, Ryan Grab, 18, he's accused of possessing 0.2 grams of fentanyl and 0.3 grams of crack cocaine-- both of which were allegedly found in a small tin. He's also accused of possessing the bottom of a plastic stem and a glass pipe intended for the use of smoking either fentanyl or crack cocaine.

Their arrests are just the latest in a recent crime crackdown in Clay County. Sheriff Darryl Daniels has previously issued a warning to criminals in the county via social media. Watch that video below.
