Four-vehicle crash, with multiple fatalities, on SR 100 outside Palatka in Putnam County

BARDIN, Florida — A four-vehicle crash involving multiple fatalities in Putnam County closed State Route 100 as emergency crews and police responded to the scene.

The accident occurred near Bardin, just outside of Palatka, about 7:30 p.m. Authorities were routing traffic to County Road 315 and CR 309c for motorists going to and from Palatka and to other destinations.

A post on the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page said motorists should expect the road to be closed for “an extended period of time.”
