Jacksonville, FL — The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 24-year-old man for the shooting death of a man in Hilliard.
Deputies were called on Monday afternoon to a home on Rooster Lane for a dispute over household finances between Richard Crews and his girlfriend.
According to Deputies, Crews was shot by Skyler Johnson, who is the son of Crews’ girlfriend. Following the shooting, Johnson put the gun on a vehicle and called 911 to report what had happened, according to Deputies.
Johnson was later arrested for second degree murder.
