Jacksonville, FL — Coming off a record-breaking hot weekend, we're going to stay unseasonably warm to start the week. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking a light breeze off the Atlantic.
“But still we’re soaring into the upper 80’s, a good dozen or so degrees above average. It’ll be pretty comfortable tonight and then tomorrow’s a windy day but it’s finally the last day of this latest heat wave”, Buresh said.
Expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms late tomorrow into tomorrow night with a cold front. Behind the front, we’re going to turn much cooler with ‘seasonal’ temps in the upper 70’s by day, and 40’s at night.
