JACKSONVILLE, Fla — In honor of Homecoming Week, the Jacksonville Humane Society is offering adoptions at a reduced price. From September 14 through September 20, adoption fees will be reduced to $25.
“Homecoming Week is a time for school spirit, celebration, and making memories with those closest to us,” said Lawrence Nicolas, CEO of the Jacksonville Humane Society. “We genuinely hope the community will join the celebration at JHS and help a dog or cat find a home of their own.”
The Jacksonville Humane Society says over 100 cats and dogs are available for adoption. Each pet is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. A county licensing fee may apply. If you plan on adopting a pet, you’re asked to bring a leash for a dog or a carrier for a cat.
You can see the list of future furry family members on the Jacksonville Humane Society’s website.
