Jacksonville, FL — Nearly two years after a murder in the Normandy area of Jacksonville's westside, a suspect has been arrested.
In October of 2016, Desmond Jacobs was found dead along Greek Road, off Normandy Blvd. near the Normandy Athletic Association.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says 28-year-old Kevin Parker was identified as a suspect and, in July, an arrest warrant was obtained.
According to jail records, Parker has a court date scheduled for August 30th.
Parker turned himself in to JSO on August 9th on charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
