JSO asking for individual who found murder victim's driver's license to come forward

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help with the death investigation of a 21-year-old woman.

JSO says the victim, Destiny Dennis, was taken to the hospital on January 4th, after she was shot during a reported robbery. She later died from her injuries.

Police say at some point during the last few weeks, Dennis' Arkansas driver’s license was found by a citizen and turned into an employee at the Duval County Courthouse. JSO is asking that individual who found the license to come forward.

They're also asking anyone else with information in Dennis' death to contact them as her death remains an active murder investigation.

If you have information, you can contact the sheriff’s office at (904) 630-0500 or JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
