JSO says 11-year-old located safe; investigation continues

Jacksonville, FL — UPDATE 3:24 a.m. Tuesday:  The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says 11-year-old Keavon Washington has been located safe.  Keavon was located in Alachua County. No arrests have been made, as the circumstances of the incident are still under investigation at this time by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

ORIGINAL STORY:  The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the search continues to find 11-year-old Keavon Washington, also known as Keavon Cue, who was reported missing over the weekend.

Both Cue and Daley are residents of Alachua County, Florida.

Police say their investigation so far has revealed that Washington ran away from home in the early hours of May 10th and was possibly picked up by a known individual or a family member. Investigators say none of Washington's biological family members currently have legal custody or guardianship of him.

Police say Washington's biological mother Keyera Cue, 35, and his father Franklyn Daley, 31, are now considered potential persons of interest in an interference with custody investigation involving him. They believe Cue and Daley may have information that will lead to his whereabouts.

If you have any information about where Washington is, you are asked to call either the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500 or the Alachua County Sheriff's Office at (352) 955-1818.
