JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a suspect from a hit-and-run incident in the Lakewood area.
The suspect is described as a black female and the vehicle, pictured above, is a silver Mercedes SUV.
Officers responded to a crash at the intersection of University Boulevard West and Powers Avenue.
The victim stopped and got outside to access the damage when the suspect struck the victim with their vehicle and drove away.
According to JSO, both vehicles were traveling westbound on University when the suspect collided with the victim.
