Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking two people, who they’re calling witnesses to a “juvenile incident” at the Avenues Mall.
JSO says a two-year-old child became separated from its family at the playground inside of the Avenues this afternoon, and that child was located in the presence of two people. They’re asking those people to come forward, saying they have “pertinent information” about this investigation. JSO has not given any further insight on what that information might be or what specifically they are investigating.
One of the witnesses being sought is described as a black woman in her 20s with long, curly hair. She was dressed in green camo and boots, which appeared to be current Army fatigues, and she reportedly spoke with a witness about her rank in the military. The second person is described as a black man in his early 20s with a muscular build, who was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt.
