Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person(s) involved in dressing a mannequin in a NYPD uniform with a pig mask and hanging it from an I-95 overpass with a noose Saturday morning.
JSO says around 6:20 am, officers responded to a report of a potential suicide on the I-95 south and Zoo Parkway overpass when they found the mannequin.
JSO says their Crime Scene Detectives are currently working on processing DNA from the mannequin to, “identify persons of interest for the sake of, most importantly, the members of our community and for officer safety.”
