New training schedule shows increase in air activity for NAS Jax

Jacksonville, FL — There’s a chance that nights in the Whitehouse neighborhood of Jacksonville could get a little noisy for the next ten days.

According to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, a new training schedule shows there could be an increase in aircraft activity. It will be happening at Outlying Field (OLF) Whitehouse, Florida.

The base says OLF Whitehouse is a satellite airfield of NAS Jax and is located just north of U.S. 90 near Whitehouse, Florida. The airfield is created for day and night carrier landing practice and is a key component for naval aviation readiness.
