A 19-year-old is dead, after a serious crash in Clay County.
The Florida Highway Patrol identifying Jonathan Barnes of Green Cove Springs as the teen killed in the crash involving three vehicles on Henley Road at Lake Asbury Drive.
According to the crash report, Barnes was driving a Nissan heading northbound, when it crossed over into oncoming lanes for an unknown reason and sideswiped a Ford Explorer. Barnes’ vehicle was then struck by the front of another Nissan with two people inside. The crash report shows the two people in the other Nissan suffered non-life threatening injuries.
