Jacksonville — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s traffic homicide unit is on the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian on Lenox Avenue at South Edgewood Avenue, in Murray Hill. The condition of the 44 year old man who was hit is not clear, but he was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
JSO said the man was crossing the street to go to work when he was hit, and the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. WOKV is working to find out if anyone will face charges. This is a developing story and will be updated as we learn more.
