Jacksonville, FL — A morning crash on westbound I-10 near U.S. 301 caused delays out of Jacksonville for multiple hours and left a huge mess to clean up.
Florida Highway Patrol says one of the semi trucks involved in this morning’s crash was hauling almond milk. Troopers were investigating what caused the crash and cleaning up the milk cartons.
A crash report from FHP says the driver of a semi truck was trying to move onto a shoulder because the vehicle was disabled, and then the driver of another semi drove into the back of the trailer. The FHP says another semi couldn’t avoid the other two.
The report shows the crash happened around 6:45 a.m., and it took crews until after 2 p.m. to re-open all lanes.
The crash report indicates charges are pending further investigation. No injuries were reported to any of the drivers involved in the crash.
