According to the Florida Highway Patrol new release, the incident happened around 11:32 p.m. on U.S.-1. A semi-truck, driven by 40-year-old Robert Bowen, was traveling north when he hit a pedestrian, FHP said.
The release said, the pedestrian is charged with violation of the right of way, walking in the travel lane.

Bowen was not injured in the incident.
