Jacksonville, FL — The St. Johns River Ferry was temporarily out of service this morning after a suspicious package was found near the Fort George slip.
JSO responded to the scene and deemed the package to not be a hazard and the item was removed.
The ferry takes traffic across the St. Johns River in Mayport daily.
