Jacksonville, FL — A family of three was found dead inside of a home in the Regency area late Tuesday. A man, woman, and toddler daughter were found inside the home on India Avenue by JFRD.
Firefighters forced entry into the home near Woodland Acres Elementary School and discovered the bodies and could see that a Christmas tree had caught on fire and burned. The bodies and any evidence are covered in smoke and soot.
“We do suspect foul play, but the investigation is in its very early stages and we don’t have much information at this point”, said JSO Sgt. David Smith.
There were no signs of forced entry. The identities of the victims have not been released by police.
