Two teens injured in separate Jacksonville shootings

A 14-year-old was shot outside the LaVilla Sportsman Club off New Kings Road around 3am Sunday.

Jacksonville, FL — Separate shootings put two teenagers in the hospital in Jacksonville.

We’re told a 13-year-old was taken to the hospital late Sunday after being shot on the northwest side.  JSO responded around 9pm to W. 45th St. and Ave. B in reference to a person shot.

The victim made their way to UF Health to receive treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the lower extremity.

Several hours earlier, a 14-year-old was shot outside the LaVilla Sportsman Club off New Kings ROad.

JSO found the teenager at a home several miles away from where they believe the teen was shot. 
Detectives say they will review surveillance video to see if the shooting was recorded.
