St. Vincent's HealthCare is opening a new health center in Mandarin off San Jose Boulevard, with all sorts of services, including urgent care, primary care, as well as imaging.
Chief Clinical Officer Huson Gilberstadt, M.D, says it's about convenience.
Gilberstadt explains, "As an emergency physician, I love the layout, I love the simplicity and how quick and efficient everything is. If you need X-rays, you got X-rays. If you need imaging, you got imaging. All in one place and quick."
St. Vincent's plans to open a similar health center in St. Johns County this November, along County Road 210.
St. Vincent's also has preliminary plans for additional health centers throughout Jacksonville.
