White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles announced that she is cancer-free after announcing her battle with breast cancer earlier this year.
In a post on social media, Wiles says, “After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear. I am cancer free.” Wiles adds, “Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way. A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”
The White House Chief of Staff first announced her battle with early-stage breast cancer in March. “Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work, and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks,” said Wiles after being diagnosed.
Several political figures and talking heads congratulated Wiles on the announcement. “Fantastic news!!!!,” said Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “Great news out of the West Wing,” said CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins. “Awesome to hear. God bless,” said talk show host Erick Erickson. Texas Senator Ted Cruz said, “This is wonderful to hear. Susie has shown tremendous strength throughout this fight. Thank God for this good news, and continued prayers for Susie and her family.”
