We're hearing from a woman who says she was victimized by Arthur Ayers, who's accused of scamming people out of thousands of dollars.
Molly Boron spoke exclusively with WOKV.
She told us Ayers, who runs K&D Tree and Landscaping, saw her doing yardwork in front of her Mandarin home and approached her.
"He shows up in a car with his mother and his seven-year-old daughter, saying he's a tree service guy," Boron tells WOKV.
"He shows what looks to be proof of a business license and a little flyer.
"He starts tree-trimming and then doesn't return when he says he was going to. He was going to replace some sod and rip some shrubs out, but that never happened. And then his phone is disconnected from there on out."
Boron says she learned a valuable lesson.
"I'm partly to blame because I gave him money up front, thinking he was legitimate and going to honor his word."
Ayers wouldn't say exactly how much money Ayers took from her, only that it was less than a thousand dollars.
The Better Business Bureau has given K&D Tree and Landscaping an "F" rating.
