4-year-old suffers dog bite in St. Augustine

A four-year-old was bitten in the cheek and under one eye by a dog on Monday night in St. Augustine, according to Fire & Rescue.

St. Johns County Fire and Rescue were called to the 2300 block of C.H. Arnold Rd. around 7:15pm Monday. The child was taken to UF Health Jacksonville. Animal Control also responded to the scene.

The extent of the child's injuries are not known.
