A hamburger meat recall is expanded to include meat sold at Winn-Dixie.
The USDA's food safety and inspection service is including four-pound boxes of Winn Dixie beef patty 100% beef in the recall.
One Great Burger of New Jersey first announced the recall January 10th. The 4-pound boxes of "Winn-Dixie beef patty 100 percent beef" were added to the recall January 14th.
The recalled products were sold in Winn-Dixie stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi, have "sell by" dates of Jan. 1, 2011, through Feb. 27, 2011, printed on the bottom of each box.
There have been no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products.
