Reports of an alligator eating a human body in a canal sent Davie police scrambling Monday evening.
Police arriving at the scene confirmed the report, according to our news partners at WPTV-5.
Two alligators are said to be at the scene and will not leave what is described as a very decomposed body. State wildlife officials have been notified.
