Jacksonville, Fl. — The Jacksonville Jaguars has confirmed they will host the Tennessee Titans Sunday, September 17th at EverBank Field at 1 p.m. after passing their final inspection from the NFL.
"It is so important on so many different levels, that we show the world that on Sunday that Jacksonville is open for business," says President of the Jacksonville Jaguars Mark Lamping.
To help deliver a home field advantage and to provide some relief, the team is donating 5,000 tickets to first responders and local residents impacted by Hurricane Irma. A portion of the 5,000 tickets will go to organizations like the American Red Cross, JEA, Beaches Electric, The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue along with similar organizations that provided relief and worked throughout the storm.
The Jacksonville Jaguars along with owner Shad Khan will be donating one million dollars to Florida’s First Coast Relief Fund.
