Multiple suspects sought in southside T-Mobile burglary

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary of a southside Jacksonville T-Mobile store, and if it may be connected to other burglaries.

Surveillance video shows four people grabbing as much merchandise as possible before running out of the store.

The thieves reportedly got away with phone accessory items. The accessories were locked up but the robbers broke the seals by ripping the merchandise off the shelves.

More than $1,000 worth of items were stolen in seconds.

“We got all high-def cameras and livestreaming. We got about 12 different angles and we are working with the police department to help catch the individuals who are responsible,” a T-Mobile employee said.

The Jersey Mike’s Subs store in the Point Meadows Shopping Plaza was also hit by crooks early Saturday morning. The surveillance video showed the suspects walk away with cash.

“They basically ran over the counter, just all scrambling for the register – basically yanking at it,” a Jersey Mike's worker identified as Melissa said.

Employees say they feel fortunate nobody was hurt. “It can happen anywhere. I’ve seen the best of stores get hit and the worst of stores not,” Melissa said.

The estimates given to replace some of these doors at the businesses ranged from $300 to $650.
