Jacksonville, Fl — An arrest is pending, after a search warrant turns up a live grenade in Atlantic Beach.
The Atlantic Beach Police Department says its served that search warrant late Tuesday morning at a business on West 6th Street, as part of a narcotics investigation.
During that search, they uncovered a live grenade, so they called in the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office to assist. We're told the grenade was eventually turned over to the Navy.
Commander Tiffany Layson says no other illegal weapons were found during their search, but an arrest is pending.
