If you head on out to A1A between St. Augustine and Mickler's Landing on Friday, you'll see about fifty veterans biking on a 17 mile loop -- just for fun.  Saturday they'll go for 27 miles down to St. Augustine.

It's part of the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier ride, which also includes golf lessons at TPC Sawgrass on Friday and a cooking class on Saturday.

"You're not thinking about the ride because you're socializing so much," says Soldier Ride director Dan Schnock, who believes the best part about the event is getting veterans to engage with each other.

Schnock says it's a great way for like-minded veterans to get together and share their stories, knowing that they all share an understanding of serving in the Armed Forces.

"It's a great way for these warriors not only to rehabilitate, I always say 'the body,' but they can also rehabilitate the mind," he says."  It makes them think about nothing but fun, enjoyment, you know, socialization."
