VIDEO: Amazon to deliver packages via drone copter

Could you imagine ordering something from Amazon.con and having it show up at your door just 30 minutes later?

It's something that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has envisioned, and that he revealed in an interview with CBS' 60 Minuteslast night (December 1st) the company is developing, creating drones to make the deliveries.

The program, called Amazon Prime Air, would have drones delivering packages of up to five pounds -- which Bezos says makes up 86 percent of their orders -- within a half-hour up to 10 miles from the fulfillment center.
Bezos said they're still four or five years away from Amazon Prime Air going operational, mostly because of working out issues with the Federal Aviation Administration to make sure it's legally allowed.
