Jacksonville FL — A family is grieving after they say their grandmother was killed in her westside home. Its an update to a story WOKV brought you Thursday. Shirley Blakely's family says she died in her son's arms in her home on Beaverbrook Place in the Woodstock area, and moments before passing, she named a man she believes killed her. Blakely's granddaughter says she named a man who lived nearby.

“Before she died, she took her last breath in his arms and was telling him who shot her, or who stabbed her, or whatever, and she pointed.” Mikesha Taylor says.

Taylor says her grandmother mentioned the man’s name before saying he believed Blakely had cursed him.

"She doesn't even believe in stuff like that." Taylor says.

Our news Partner Action News Jax spoke to the mother of the man Blakely accused and she says her son was in downtown at the time.

Jacksonville Police haven’t announced any arrests and they say they are still investigating the case.
